One Line Summary
More than hundred PREEMPT_RT systems at the OSADL QA Farm approve real-time capabilities
Abstract
The OSADL QA Farm currently monitors the real-time capabilities of more than hundred ARM, MIPS, PowerPC and x86 based systems running PREEMPT_RT patched Linux kernels. In addition, a large number of system variables and log data are recorded to help with bug fixing and performance improvement. The tested stable systems that run an OSADL released real-time kernel can be recommended to be used in a productive industrial environment where a deterministic response to asynchronous events is mandatory.
